Food and Hospitality Teacher

0.6-1.0 FTE – negotiable

Harvest Christian College is a thriving co-educational, multi-denominational school committed to providing a Christ-centred education within a loving and caring environment. We seek applications for a suitably qualified and knowledgeable Food and Hospitality Teacher to join our engaging and dedicated team at Harvest Christian College in Kadina, on the Yorke Peninsula.

The Food and Hospitality Teacher is accountable to the Head of Senior School, will be responsible for implementing the College’s Food and Hospitality program, and will need (or be willing to develop) knowledge in teaching SACE Stage 1 and 2 Food and Hospitality. Knowledge or experience in teaching Stage 1 and 2 Nutrition is not a requirement, but would be beneficial.

Agriculture Teacher

The Agriculture Teacher is accountable to the Head of Senior School, will be given the opportunity to lead in establishing our agriculture program, must be enthusiastic, and will need (or be willing to develop) knowledge in teaching SACE Stage 1 Agriculture, and Stage 2 Agricultural Production and/or Agricultural Systems.

Front Office Administration Officer

0.6 FTE (during school terms)

Commencing Monday 20 January, 2025

An exciting opportunity exists to join our administrative team as an Administration Officer. The successful applicant will work 3 days per week during school term. The ideal candidate will have a high customer-service focus and a professional and welcoming presence.

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Be the first point of contact for the College
  • Liaise with staff, parents and visitors to the College
  • General office duties (phone attendance/preparation and distribution of correspondence/monitoring emails)
  • Provide first aid as needed

Applicants will also need to demonstrate:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Current Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid training (or willing to obtain)

Education Support Officer (ESO)

0.6 – 1.0 FTE (negotiable) during school terms

The successful applicant will work as part of a team of ESOs in the Learning Support Department, that work mainly within classrooms supporting students with disabilities and learning difficulties one-on-one and in small groups under the direction of the Learning Support Coordinator and Facilitator.
